About

I am a Ph.D. student in the Penn State University Department of Communication Arts and Sciences.  I study legal information and communication systems. My particular interests are legal metadata, legal knowledge representation, digital legal publishing, legal information retrieval, legal social networks, legal educational technology, legal language, legal rhetoric, legal communication, and how nonlawyers -- especially in online environments such eRulemaking, eReferendum, and eLegislation systems -- understand and use legal information.  My detailed information is available at my blog, http://legalinformatics.wordpress.com/about/ . I run a professional social network for legal informatics scholars, and for people developing legal information systems; if you're among those people, we'd value your participation in our network. Please contact me for an invitation.
